Kandha is an upcoming tamil action movie written and directed by the famous writer Babu K Viswanath aka Thiruvarur Babu and produced by Kalpana Palanivel under the banner V. P. Films.
Karan is in the lead role and playing opposite him is Mithra Kurian, the Malayalam Actress who also made her debut in Kavalan as Asin's friend. Vivek is in charge of the comedy. Rajesh, Arthi, Kadhal Thandapani & Riyaz Khan are playing supporting roles.
Kandha revolves around a youngster who never forgets his school teacher even after he reaches a high position in life, and is all about how he comes to her rescue.
Director Thiruvarur Babu says that this movie will show the power of Ahimsa since the theme is based on non-violence. He has also added that the climax of the movie will be like that of a short story.
M. Siva Kumar handles the camera and the music is composed by Shakti R. Selva. Suresh Urs is in charge of the Editing while E. Sankar has taken care of the Art Direction.
