Mingora, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Swat (BISE Swat) announced the result of Matric (Secondary School Certificate) annual exams 2011 on Monday June 13, 2011. Swat Board chairman Iqbal Khan announced the result of top position holders.
Swat board chairman said, total 21,562 male and female candidates were appeared in the matric annual examination 2011 out of which 16,130 were cleared the matriculation examination 2011 with the pass percentage of 75%. The board chairman further said, 25,771 boys and girls appeared in the 9th class examinations and 13,140 candidates were declared pass. The pass percentage of 9th class is 51%.
Aneel Kumar secured the first position by getting 971 marks. Liaquat Ali secured 965 marks and stood second and Syed Fazlullah got third position by getting 957 marks. The Swat board awarded Rs50,000 cash prize to the Aneel Kumar who bagged first position, 45,000 to the second position holder and 40,000 to the third position holder in the award ceremony held at Swat Board premises.
All the top positions were secured by the male students of private schools as Public School and College Mingora, Al-Razi P7ublic School and Hira School Baidarra.
